The Oscar Wilde Society is an academic and literary society founded in 1982 to promote the study, understanding, and dissemination of research about Oscar Wilde and his times.
We are especially engaged in fostering a wider awareness of Oscar Wilde. A greater appreciation of his views on the redemptive value of beauty in our daily lives, and knowledge of the artists, educators, celebrated people, and others he met.
We welcome all who share our interest to support, make contributions, and join in this celebration.
